Stillwater Cove is a good safe bet with an easy launch.  You drop your kayak off and park up the road on one of the pull outs.  It is about 150yds to the ocean.  A cart is useful the path is paved until the last 30yds or so.

Pretty good fishing, too.  I caught the Ling Cod in my signature here last labor day.

i launched at gerstle cove before rockfish opened[my friends were ab diving]. it took some muscle at low tide, it would be much better with 2 people.  i marked a lot of rockfish there.

Chef... it might be a little lumpy... swell is OK... 6 - 7 feet is a piece of cake there.

The NOAA wind forecast is for offshore up to 20 miles and is often not reflective of what's happening inshore... however, there are times where it is accurate for inshore as well... you just never know.

The www.iwindsurf.com report is calling for less than 10 knots wind from the WNW for thursday morning inshore (bodega marine lab).  If you get there early, it might be worth a shot.

Lots of times you just don't know until you go.

As a backup plan, if you can't fish the open ocean... you could drift for halibut in the Bodga Harbor channel or in Tomales Bay.

if you don't feel like driving that far I'll be at linda mar unless the wind is too out of hand. it was mellow at LM today with lots of bird action just the other side at rockaway.
