Hi all - I’m looking to do a day or two of kayak fishing south of  Monterey and North of SLO. Any tips on somewhat reliable coves or beaches that are easy to kayak launch from? Anyone looking for a fishing partner this Saturday or Sunday morning in those areas? Open to other dates as well.
Thanks!

Limekelin or Cambria

At the south end there is Leffingwell in Cambria - easy launch and pretty good fishing just offshore.

Cheers,
Brad

I've always wanted to but the Big Sur area can seem very wild. Please let us know how it goes. Very interested to hear if it is worth it.

Cayucos on the right hand side (looking out to sea) of the pier.
There's a ton of structure heading upcoast away from town in pretty shallow water.

San Simeon state park. My favorite camping area.   :smt007 You can launch right across the street or travel south to other launches suggested.

Cambria Slam Tournament. One of my favorites back in the day.
