2021 Outback rod holder for trolling

Thanks for the pictures! I’m interested in saltwater trolling, like halibut and lings.
Wow, that base looks really nice.. I didn’t know there was such a product!
I really like that setup with the rod crossing in front of you, I guess I’d need the taller arm for that.

If you have the tools, it is pretty easy.  I cut them out with a table saw, routed the edges to take the corners off, and drilled the holes.  Just add the scotty mounts, stainless t-bolts and knobs... I made enough for me and my buddy and it saved $$. 

Also made downrigger mounts...

 

Mom going to copy this.  Just make them uglier.  Where did you get t bolts?

I've always used starboard/polyethylene, and hadn't thought of using kydex. How is the kydex holding up, and how thick does it have to be? I've got some, but it's only .080...
