Hello Everyone,

Nice to meet you all! I've been interested in this community for a while, I've done plenty of research, watched multiple videos, and caught several delicious fish from the shore. I've rented kayaks and fished in the ocean several times, and I've finally received my very own OldTown PDL 106. I plan on being quite active in the forums, asking lots of questions and sharing pictures and videos of my catches. I hope to inspire others to kayak fish in the Monterey Bay the way you all have for me.

Cheers,
CyberSeaSpie

Welcome. Pictures and videos involving fish will make you popular around here.

If you regularly fish on the Santa Cruz side of the Monterey Bay, I'm sure I'll see you on the water this year...

I don't know too much about the Santa Cruz waters, I think I'd launch from the Capitola Beach next to the wharf. Am I able to launch from the boatyard next to Bayside Marine?
