Body repair??? Windshield

Anyone know of a reasonable body guy… Safelite said they couldn’t touch it until it was rust free!!!

Said that if he pulled the windshield out-by law couldn’t put it back if it wasn’t proper!!!

Told him I was a logger safe isn’t in the job description lol


Anyway it all comes down to who you know not what you know 😉

I'd find an indy guy, they don't have lawsuits and lawyers  up their asses.
My guy never pulled that crap.
He would ask if I wanted to fix it first, then go do another job and come back, (a sixer goes a long way here)...

  I had the same corrosion problem on my truck. I go to a place on Piner and they charged me extra but got it in. I paid cash. That windshield has since cracked and now I just roll with it.

LoL me too been cracked for years!!! One goes All the way across… funny I don’t even notice it anymore HA!!!

I had a glass guy come to my place and replace my windshield.  I knew there was rust on the top edge, paid a little extra but he got it all done and in.  Was about $400 for everything (labor, glass, fixing the rust).  I'll try to find his number, he's in Richmond.

Got the same problem from salt water dripping off my kayak on to the corner where the glass is.

Mines from parking at Doran most of the year… the condensation dripping from my camper down on the cab has corroded the F out of it🥺
