I’m up in Mendo for the weekend, and plans to go skin diving for dungies in the Big River are clearly shot due to the runoff — it’s muddddddy! Anybody have a place they’d recommend up here? Saw a few references to glass beach but looks pretty rocky out there.

If you are still planning on diving for them there is usually a lot of sand on the north side of the jetty in Noyo Harbor - used to kick out there when the exposed areas were too rough for ab diving. I always had to kick across a lot of sandy areas to get to the reefs on the north side of the cove or haul gear around. Good luck!

Cheers,
Brad
