I am moving and it is too much trouble to take my beloved kayak rack with me, so I am giving it to the first person who come to my house and take it away (sorry since I am under a lot of pressure to move out, I cannot hold it for later pickup, it is first come first serve). I built this a few years ago and put it in garage, and it is very strong and really helped me to store as many kayaks, rods, and equipments as possible in a relatively small footprint. The whole rack is 45" wide by 75" tall and 10' long, I used screws to assembled the main structure (some plywood panels were stapled on), so if you do not have a big enough vehicle to take it (I guess it will take a pickup with some good straps to take it as one piece), you can also disassemble it on my driveway yourself and take it piece by piece (sorry again I probably would not be able to help since I am in a hurry to move). It can comfortably hold three heavy kayaks (for the first pic, I had an AI stored in the bottom rack, but I happened to take it out when I took the pic), but most of time, I only store two kayaks at the bottom racks, and use the top rack to store crab cages and other bulky stuffs. Top of the rack is made of smooth plywood, so you can put more stuff on it. It has 21 built in horizontal rod holders, and has many different hooks at various locations to hang various equipment. I will pull it out of my garage onto driveway tomorrow morning, so if anyone is interested, please contact me and come and get it asap.

that's some nice infrastructure.  having recently moved, my guess is that is too much of a transport burden for a freebie, and you'll end up having to chop it up or otherwise dispose of it.  I would totally grab it were my current domicile more amenable.  Good luck with the move

Thank you sir! I am hoping someone can make good use of it instead of me throwing it in dumpster, it really save a lot of garage space if you have two or three kayaks.

I am very interested in your kayak rack. If it is still available, I can come by noon today to take it apart to bring home to re-assemble. Please PM me your address if that works for you. Thanks.

Very nice setup. Glad to see that it is going to a good home.
Are you pondering what I’m pondering?
