My buddy and I had an amazing day at HMH on 11/4—we both limited out on jumbos in under two hours! However, the same spot (and the surrounding areas) produced almost nothing over the next two weekends. It's been super discouraging and surprising after such a great initial haul.

Has anyone been out there recently and had better luck? I'm finding it hard to muster the motivation to load everything up if it's still slim pickings.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING, Y'ALL

Got to go deep out on the right of the outside jetty at Doran to get them.
It was a struggle to get 4 keepers at Tomales in front of Hog.
Went Tues & Weds hoping for a good Thanksgiving harvest but it’s a bust for me

It’s been pretty bad lately. Linda Mar got red tide. Water was brown last week and on Tuesday.  Empty nets.  Not sure what’s going on.

Dang, this is a bummer. What I am hearing then is to either travel north a ways or stick to freshwater for my next trip out.

Try Tomales near the weather buoy. I got a nice grade limit there Wednesday in under 2 hours. Incoming to slack tide, 7 am first drop, 30 fow was good, so was 45 further east south of the point

On Saturday I’ve seen a lot of folks snare casting at LM. Getting mostly undersized dungees, few small keepers. Didn’t look that productive.

Any farther north than Jenner has been very slow, or so I've heard.

Tomales has been pretty bad so far this year, not just for me but everyone I talked to at the ramps or on the water.

Well I should say if I was going for undersized it would be incredible, like 30+ little guys per pull lol

Seems like this is the case everywhere right now. Some folks get lucky, most don't. Hoping it picks up before Xmas...

I’m planning to give HMB another try this weekend. I hope things improve.
