Hi,

I was at HMB yesterday, headed out about 10am.  I realize I was fairly late out, but was surprised that there were very few folks out - only counted 3 others fishing in kayaks.

Why was it not a more popular day? Swell and wind both seemed well within limits and well before the weather warning of the evening.  I didn’t catch anything so maybe I was missing something?

That does sound light for HMB on a Saturday. Did you get out to the green can? That’s usually where kayakers will be.

Yeah that’s interesting.
Conditions indeed looked good Saturday.
I was considering it for a minute.
At any rate, hope you enjoyed a relatively quiet outing.

Before, when salmon was open, it would be filled with kayakers.  I've had quite a few days of seeing only a few out there.

I think overall I see much less kayakers, many days of not seeing a single other kayaker this year in other spots.
