Good to hear the great reports from BAM III.  However, back at home on the local waters, things were not as exciting.  In fact the water and the weather was so calm/warm that I almost fell out of my yak on two occasions from dozing off.  I started calling my friends on my cell to stay awake.  It was literally water skiing conditions.

I made bait the night before at Duane's favorite spot and it took all of 10 minutes.  There's was homeless guy at the normal spot otherwise I would have finished 5 minutes earlier.

Paddled slowly out to the break and back, drifted by the flag pole for nada, not even a scratched bait.  Lots of shore casters and a few power boats but I didn't see anyone with any keepers.  Oh well...

Hey Gary -

That's a bummer. I heard there were stripers in the area, guess not. You should have gone to BAM with me, it was non-stop striper action. Maybe next year.

Yep, the pictures and the smiles say it all.  Looks like everyone won at this event fish or no fish.

Wish it were in the cards for me this year and I'll definately put BAM IV on the calendar.

I had one of those HAZY DAYS during that last heatwave. At least you got your yak wet!.....and it wasn't windy.
