It looks like the last good conditions for Sonoma RF are on Tuesday, so I’m blocking out some time off work. I’m thinking TC since it’s been awhile but FR is my usual go-to so I’m fine with either. Company welcome.

If a seagull poops on you, statistically it was no accident.

Joe, I so wanted to join you but my schedule this week just doesn't work out.  Starting in Oct., I will be officially retired and can join you whenever and wherever, from stripers in Benicia in Oct. and back to RF in Nov.  Good luck Tuesday and tight lines!

Good luck tomorrow Joe!  Wish my schedule allowed a big day tomorrow, or I would join you. I have all day Wednesday, but the weather looks less than optimal...

Report: excellent weather and sand dab fishing. I didn’t do so well on the lings and RF. Sunny all day. No one was there, just Mabel and I alone on the sea. Headed out to 150’ and did well on dabs before heading in towards the glass house, bouncing a large dead smelt for lings.
Corey turned up on the radio but I never saw him. He limited pretty quickly and left before I ever got back to the Totem. I had one ling on but it let go 10’ from the boat. Had one other bite on the smelt and switched to jigs and squid.  Released a nice 17” Copper and small gopher. Then kept an olive and decent gopher (out of spite). I didn’t really target RF. Still looking for a 30”+ ling for this year.

Thanks for the report and pictures Joe.
