Glad I bought the Rev13 early this year.

This is very unfortunate.  Let's hope they plan to bring in an all new version of it at some point.

I’m hoping for a cleanup of model lines and updated/improved revo for 2025. Time will tell I guess. Linked is a recent interview with their new marketing director. At the end there is a hint at new stuff for 2025.

personally, if my revo ever dies I would only consider getting another or something faster like a revo16 or an ai, neither of which are made anymore

Interesting take on the kayaks being manufactured, with an emphasis on the demise of the Revo.

He has great videos on Kokanee, and trout fishing too.

Completely agree that kayak manufacturers are targeting the bass crowd and coming with big and heavier boats. Since Hobie is a CA company, I am lost as to how they can miss what the local market needs, especially for saltwater.

Yes, but there are some good used ones around…
Are you pondering what I’m pondering?

Watching ICast 2024 on youtube. I didn't spot a single kayak that you could propel using paddles and all have motors. All are like big boats now and weigh over 160lbs. They shouldn't be calling them kayaks anymore.
All geared towards big people and bass fishing.
