My new Pro Angler 14! Can’t wait to get it rigged up and out on the water. I may have to take it for a test run this next week after I get off work. This is my first Hobie and I am unsure of how I want to connect my Rod holders? On my Radar 135 I had the T slots and pretty much all yakattack rodholders and heavy duty mounts. On the PA’s H rail should I use the H rail mounts or the Yakattack Mighty double clamp mounts on the H rails. I troll for Halibut and larger fish when I’m not fishing local lakes. I also need a Scotty mount for a small downrigger and crab pulley.

You could add 1-2 scotty base on ea of the black plate on the gunnar. Then get some h-bar clamp for the rails.

Unwrapped and Unloaded it, took a couple pictures and then went to work. Once the temps warm up I’ll play around with flipping it.

Agreed, they look like they've got sooo much room. Prolly not gonna be putting it on any rack!

120.5# fitted
144.5# rigged

How do you flip one back over should you capsize?

I haven't been on one of those, but I bet it takes a pretty significant event to capsize it.

38” wide, they say if you’re going to fall off, just jump out and climb back in from the rear. It is less likely to flip if you don’t hold on to it and drag it over. However, it it flips, you should have a p cord or webbing pre-tied to the handrail and tucked in the pocket. Then you use the rope to flip it back over.
