The site is NorCal Kayak Anglers, or NCKA.  We are based in Northern California.  This site URL is norcalkayakanglers.com, not northerncaliforniakayakanglers.com.

Please don’t refer to it as Northern California Kayak Anglers when interacting with other organizations.  If we’re confused, imagine how confused they are.  You are only diluting the “brand”.

In the past. People asked me what "NorCal" stands for and I replied "Northern California".  So now if someone asks ne, you suggest we tell them it stands for nothing, just NorCal?

I have never referred to NCKA as northern california kayakers but Nor seems as though it refers to Northern.

I do understand your reference , Allen. I did a search and found a forum on facebook that is Northern kayak anglers and others with similar reference. So i get the distinction.

It’s simple enough to say that we are NorCal Kayak Anglers, generally based in Northern California.

Curious, are there really people in NorCal that don’t know what it is a shortened form of?  Perhaps send them to F&S.  Kidding …
