AOTY is quite the horse race for 2024 with a photo finish

It's late December and the weather looks iffy through the end of the month. But with only a few points separating the top 3 (out of over 1600 pts!) any 1/4"- 1/2" upgrade could win it. I tried for crappie and bass today at Clear Lake and could only get a couple of real nice catfish (28", 25") that didn't add any points for me. Strategies to secure my lead are slim at this point. Very vulnerable.

Aren't there large fish in those areas?  Aoty species?  Don't give him ideas.  Hope you win Joe
