Apologies for putting in this forum. I thought I’d get more eyes and I’m kinda in a crunch for time. I’m  looking for a couple pig heads, whole or split, to try some recipes. Anyone know where in the Bay Area I can get some?  I’ve gotten them from Bud’s in the past but that’s a bit of a trek.

Thanks,
Nate

I may have a half of one if that helps.

Thanks for the offer but I need more than a half. Plus, I really enjoy seeing what you make with your bounty.

You can probably pick a couple up from Markegard Family Grass Fed on the peninsula. My fianceé used to work for them and she says they usually had them in inventory since they weren't a super popular item. You'd probably have to call/email them because they're not listed in their catalog.

I would imagine any old school carniceria would have them handy. When do you need them? I can do an NCKA express from Bud's to the peninsula tomorrow if they have them in stock.

Hey thanks Rick. Lemme hit up Markegard tomorrow and see where that leads. If not, then I’ll call Bud’s to see if they have a couple in the freezer. They don’t always have on hand and I’m sure they would’ve needed all the fridge and freezers space for the recent holidays. I’ll update here

my new name should be Ostridge. Got my head in the sand. Going fishing and letting go of the other stuff I can't control anyway!
