Down here at Mission Beach for a couple weeks. First time in years, I have not done a 3/4 day. Looks like the San Diego out of Seaforth has done well. I think the new medicine they have me on gave me a weak stomach. So, decided not to go out. Have kayak fished Mission Bay a lot. Not a lot of catching. Undersized halibut and spotted sand bass. Corvina jumping all over the place. I had one hit No stick. Has to be a huge school as jumping all over Sail Bay and the cove by the house.

try launching off Shelter Island, some bigger Halibut in the bay, and also some Sculpin.  Can either buy live bait off the water, or sabiki some up.

House we rent is in Mission Beach.   Roll the kayak to the bay by Santa Clara Pt.   So, easy.   Off to home today, we are going to Europe for a lower Danube river cruise soon.
