So are the stripers there all stockers, rather than a resident population?

I think outside of the Eastcoast all Stripers are introduced. So yeah stockers... some just older than others.

Yes, they are all stock with private money by the Ukiah Chapter of the CSBA.  Bendo is a fundraiser for the cause.  In addition, there is a CSBA Tourney in the spring, and then we usually apply for a County Commision grant.  I am the Chapter Secretary...how macho is that!  IMHO it is the best freshwater striper fishery in the west.  When Mendo is on, it is AMAZING.
