Non-yak friday Mendo report

I drive up knowing the south ramp had been closed in the past week. What I didn't expect was exactly how low the water elevel was. It was low enough to launch where I haven't launched my little Whaler in quite some time. Once in, the weather was spectactular, with just a buddy's zodiac for company. Lots of grebes, lots of bait and predators on the ff, but no boils or strikes. A very quiet morning on the pond.
It's not over yet...

Hey Juan - that was me launching my kayak when you guys were leaving. I was gonna paddle over and say hey, but you took off before I launched.

Sorry to hear the fish didn't cooperate...they're still hitting minnows!
