Hello everyone,
I'd like to introduce myself to the forum. I started kayak fishing at the start of the pandemic. The reason I started to kayak fish was to catch a sturgeon. It's been almost a decade since i've caught one. I grew up catching sturgeon, striper, and catfish from the bank up until 2015 +/-. During the pandemic I found myself watching ACE fishing videos where he catches sturgeon in 5ft of water. It reignited my interest in fishing.

I found out about the group when I sold my spare hobie gt drive to one of the ncka members. He stopped by in west sac on his way to the foothills for camping.  Just recently, I met another member (YosemiteRob) when I sold my original kayak (hobie revo 13). Both of them spoke highly of the community.

The biggest reason I decided to join was to find fellow anglers that are into striped bass fishing. I'd like to explore new areas that are accessible for kayaks. In the past I have spent 12+hrs on the water and travelled up to 15miles on occasion. I've also done overnight fishing in search for a bite. I currently own a Sportsman Autopilot and a bigwater.

Thanks for the add and I look forward to dialogue and fishing with the group.
