I have a neighbor selling this truck
Asking $14,750
Looks all original
Pretty clean for its age
I did see there’s currently no bed floor in it

You would definitely look good scouting the burns with it. Recollection tells me those motors were prone to blowing head gaskets, and many of them swapped to 327 Chevys.

I once had a 74 FJ40 with a 350 transplant.

Seems like a bargain, since it runs and drives...

Some regrets...I was young and not living for the future.  I had a 67 and a 72 Landcruiser and a 66 dodge panel van...sold em' for peanuts.  Always wish I bought that 66' convertible cutless for 2000$ when I was in high school...

Nice 45!

I have had a 69' FJ40 for about 30 years, currently building it up. The F motor is extremely reliable thou gutless and there are no longer parts available, purists install the 2F motor with slightly more power, better lubrication and parts are available. Very expensive hobby if you want to make it nice.....

I was seriously imagining myself pulling into a beach parking lot in it!

1964 would have been three on tree so transmissions been swapped.

Headers, carb and bed are also not original but still could be a deal depending if there's any frame or body rust.....if nobody on here wants to take on a hobby project car I can let some local Cruiser heads know and generate some interest.

ouch.  mixed feelings and some regrets.

i bought a FJ40 about 4 years ago.  a 75.  i started digging in, and the parts just started to pile up. my mess, the grease, the black fingernails.

i made the decision that i wasnt a car guy anymore.  i had bought an moved into a house with a smaller garage, and my wife wanted to park in it.  a bud bought it from me..and i took it in the shorts.

i am not a weekend car mechanic anymore.  i started getting anxiety from all the parts laying around. hahahha
