hammerhead muzzles

i got a hammerhead reef muzzle on my trusty old David Laird's ex 100cm sporasub sniper and cant wait to use it. i junked the other delrin one i had made for this sleek strong one that holds 2 9/16ths bands. install was pretty straight forward and really easy. profile is a lot better than the home made one i had.

i am using a single wrap of weed whacker line (blue one from k mart) equiv to about 300lb test mono.

this gun has been with me since i worked for David and it was with this gun i shot some of my largest local fish like halibut and lings. for a while i had this gun apart using parts from it but want to see if i can still get good mojo out of it. the thin profile makes tracking fish real easy and its a light gun altogether.

im going to head down to monterey on saturday morning with my kayak and i'll post a report on how it shoots. i cant wait.
