Anyone have any information on the kayak rescue at Oyster Point yesterday? Saw this posted on Coastside. Good work to the AI/TI kayaker on the rescue and catch!

Coastside report:
"I was at Oyster today. When I arrive there were all kinds of SSFPD cars and SSF fire trucks. One the police asked if I had binocs. Yes, I do. Turned out a kayak fisherman radioed for help just outside the breakwater and taking in water. A passer -by large sailing trimaran kayak picked up the guy and transferred him to a more stable real boat. The trimaran kayak skipper was the hero. The Trimaran had a large butt on board. BTW, 4 butts to 17# were landed by the pier anglers using fresh caught jacksmelts"

What would you think contributed to that many rescues? Inexperience? Lack of preparation?

All of the above and watching too many youtube videos with the delusional thinking its a piece of cake.
