Planing a couple days near Greaeagle.   Thinking Jackson Meadows,   Truck camper.   Which campgrounds, sites?   Any suggestions?   What to fish with?

Report on my trip.
Took off Monday for Jackson Meadows reservoir. Was originally going to Mammoth Lakes area, but govt cancelled reservation. Roads around the lakes are not open except to shuttle. Lunch at Beach Hut DelI Colefax. 👍👍. Google says quicker way to JM is via highway 20 and via Bowman Lake. NOPE!!! Get to Bowman turn off and says 1.4 miles to Meadow Lake Rd. Figure gavel for 1.5 miles okay. We get in about 2 miles and is nasty 4x4 Forest service road 18. Found out later had been washed out for two years. Narrow, wife frightened, can not turn around. Finally 3.5 hours later we are actually at pavement again. Near JM. Batterie have smashed open door on camper, and one missing. Go to take off camper and basement under floor is loose from camper, so can not remove camper. 2019 GMC 2500hd Truck did great. Fishing was nada. Since I had to inflate kayaks and deflate as a distance from campground, we only kayaked one day. Lake was warm. Snow in the hills but lake is 60 degrees. Neighbor camper said fish were down 45+ feet, and he fished JM a lot and was also skunked. We camped at Pass Creek. Very nice campground. Could not dump, as some dips…. put a rock down the dump station according to the guys fixing the toilet (flush) at the campground. Easy drive out to Truckee on the paved roads. Should have had the dash cam for the drive in.
