didn't wake up early enough to go to LindaMar and still make it back to work by 11, so figured I'd terrorize the stripers again.

Managed 4 legals at the entrance to the SR canal- loads of bait in there.  took a turn up to the islands, and managed my biggest striper this year....nice fat hog that towed me around- probably 32" or so (my marks on my boat top out at 30").

There are still a lot of weeds, and junk floating around- but if you find the clear rips there's fish.  Same yozuri i've had on for about 8 months now!

Where you trolling or casting? I might hit Oyster point Saturday for a little 'butt/striper action. Anyone heard of anything coming out of there recently?

Great thanks Steve. I will probably hit OP Saturday if the wind looks like it is going to howl on the ocean.

Hi Steve,
Where are you launching from?  I've fished out of Buck's landing but not any other places out of Marin.  I'd be interested in joining you on a weekend morning striper run.

Ed

I've been launching either out of Loch Lomond marina, the brickyard, or a beach over by the Marin Rod & Gun club. I think i posted all of these on the launches page-- if not PM me and I'll email you a list.  Brickyard should be getting really good soon, but the water is kinda roiled up, and all that floating moss is about (caused by the big tides).
