Seaweed Fertilizer

I love harvesting from the ocean. I also love gardening. I also hate paying too much for something I can make. So here I am making seaweed fertilizer now.

I will give it a try. There will be plenty of kelp on the shore after this passing storm
A bear got onto my fish fertilizer container (garbage can) and made a big mess. Hopefully it will keep away from my kelp brew.

seaweed fertilizer is wonderful stuff, but you got to have a strong nose.

watched your video - will need to try that out.  I've been organic gardening for a while, and have found the kelp fertilizer is the best (in my experience) I think mainly as it is not only full of nutrients, but not very hot - so it's gentle on the plants.

I will need to give this a try.  I've haven't harvested kelp yet, but plan to, I'd heard somewhere that you need to carry a scale with you? is this true? and limited to 10#/day?
