So what combo would you suggest for Rockfish, Lings or halibut?

I personally got the 3000 for mackerel/bait and bay halibut. The 4000 for RF/ling.

Walmart has a pretty good 90 day return policy so you have time to think it over after purchasing it.

I plan to use these for my new to fishing kids instead of my more expensive gear.
