Had not had the boat out for a long time.  Wife did a ladies trip to Santa Barbara, so I took the boat to the lake.   Left a day late as had installed new Kodiak brakes on the trailer. Got it home and one hub very hot after a 2 mile trip.   Caliper touching rotor.  Easternmarine sent one wrong caliper bracket.  First one I installed, so did not notice difference. Was shorter than correct one.   Ended up removing caliper and capping off brake line.  Ran trailer with 3 wheel brakes.  Lake really low.  Only Iron Horse campground open.   Reservations required.  So, found a pull through site and used phone to make recreation.gov reservation.   Sucks to have to pay a reservation fee when open campsites.   Lake is really low.   Saw one kayak fishing, don’t know his success rate.   I trolled for trout, with nada results,  bass jumping, but no love on the catching.  Not paying attention and broke shaft of the bow mount trolling motor.  $90 in parts.   Boat ran well, jet drive bucket shift spring decided to leave the boat, so have to hold shifter for bucket when in reverse.  Was hot, hot.   93 when I left Sunday morning.  Some of the bass guys were catching fish, on Ned rigs.   Without trolling motor could not hold position to fish lightweight Ned rigs.

Thanks for the report, sorry about the troubles and lack of fish.  I am getting excited to do some late fall early winter fw fishing, so keep them reports coming!
