Hello all,
I acquired a version 1 (?) Hobie Mirage drive. It is missing the idler cable, but otherwise seems to function perfectly. The drive was part of an older inflatable Hobie. Hoping to convert this into some extra spending $$. From some fast research I did, looks like a going price for this is around $300, or best offer.
Thanks, and Tight lines :-)

Hi All,
Either no one needs an older drive or my price was off base. Let’s try $200 or best offer. 😎🐟🎣

I think the issue is that parts can no longer be had for the model. But, at that price, I’m willing to take a chance—I’ll take it!

Is there any chance of NCKA express to SJ or Santa Cruz?

Are you able to change out the fins on those?
I have been lazily looking for an older tandem and most on CL have the v1 drive. I have a set of GT fins and hope I could swap them out for the penguin wing looking ones.

I believe the fins are interchangeable, but the masts and different and the cables are a different length. I can let you know for sure when/if I get this one...
