Hi All,

I am heading to Shelter Cove this weekend for some camping and fishing fun with the wife and some friends.  We are chartering a boat out on Sunday, but I am interested in heading out on the kayak on Saturday (7/2).  At this stage in my novice kayaking career, my wife says I need a "buddy" to go out into the ocean.  Anyone interested?

Later, Sean

I have been itching to go to shelter cove on a kayak trip.

If the weather holds, a trip to Fort Ross or Stillwater cove will be very productive for the rockfish opener.

Well I got permission to go out in the yak in the protected area where all the boats are moored.  I'll probably sneak out a little farther and attempt to find some fish.  I'll report back after the weekend.

Which boat are you taking- Codking? I am interested in taking that boat later this summer or another six pack if there is a better one. That would be great to hear how it goes. Ususally with the boats up there you do rocks, halbut, and finish with salmon. Make some space in your freezer!
