Hobie vantage seat broke at the back of the frame. I wonder if it is because I always raised the seat.
Haven't contacted Hobie yet but wonder if anyone else had similar issue before and how it was dealt with.

it's probably fixable...you may have to reinforce it with a metal backing (stainless steel, aluminum, etc) with a couple screws. Doubt something like plastic welding, crazy glue, epoxy will be enough by itself.

Definitely call some shops to inquire about warranty services. Honor is quite good and those seats are freakin expensive.

Yeah, after exhausting the warranty option I'd throw the kitchen sink at it. Extensive metal backing on both sides to secure the parts, then maybe wrap that in fiberglass? As stated them puppies are spendy.
