Rockaway hookup 9-2-22 (Friday) / Re-introduction

Hey NCKA I’m back after being off the water for 2 years or so and gonna hit it hard for salmon this Friday 9-2-22.  Looking for some buddies to fish with. I lived in Humboldt for years and kayaked fished plenty from shelter cove/ Mendo and Trinidad then moved back down to the bay got busy with new job and renovating the new condo in Petaluma. I’m in new territory so I’m really looking forward to learning the area hooking some pink again. I’d be there before the sun rises so around 5:15am-5:30am in the parking lot.  I wouldn’t be opposed to Bolinas. I’m researching the ins and outs of both areas so things can change depending on word of the bite.

I’ll be there by 5:30. Do you know if there’s a fee for parking? Also if the parking lot closest to the beach is full is there other parking close by?

No fee for parking and there will be room to park. Never seen it full even on weekend at that time

Hey, it's me Vincent (we met in Safeway twice:smt006). Suggest you try another place instead of rw. I went there yesterday and Tuesday... The water is all brownish and sick. If you go to rw, try the north side of the pacific pier. The water might be better there.

Welcome to the Bay. I live up the way a bit in Sebastopol, so probably will see you out there some time. (I’ll be honest… These days I’m more likely to be out there in my Arima, but I still kayak, I swear! [emoji849])
