There were reports of a decent bite last week, before the conditions went to shits. MacKerricker/10 mile beach was apparently the hot spot but there we reports of fish being caught in vicinity of the whistle buoy, about 1 mile out in 180 -200 ft of water. Conditions look great for the next couple days, if you go out of Noyo watch out for the speeding boats going for albacore, specially if it is foggy .   Season closes here soon, so go get 'um and report back. Good luck!

I bought one of those sabiki eat my tackle rigs and I think it would be great for a boat gunnel but a little to much for the yak, Its a 7-8ft broom stick and just seems a little ridiculous. And only certain smaller hooks will glide into the rod, otherwise they get stuck at the top then you have a swinging sabiki flail to deal with.

Ive been running a cut down 3 hook sabiki to attach or I also have a section of pool noodle to just handline bait w 3 or 4 hooks if I dont want to use a rod.

but sabiki is gonna do what sabiki is gonna do. My friend said just looking at one will tangle it lol.
