Muir Beach gates?

Anyone tried launching already THIS YEAR who can verify that the gates are open at pre-dawn as in previous years?

Was open early 3 Mondays ago...I was there by 6:15 so that's not pre dawn John style but I suspect it was open, Paul was already set up when I got there so I'm not sure how much earlier he arrived...

It was open when I got there at 5:30 on 6/25.

Last month opened at 4:45am.
I think they don’t even close. Saw no one when I arrived.
