Anyone want to sell or know where I can buy the outrigger for an old hobie mirage? Does hobie still sell them I can’t seem to find any info on the actual outrigger. You can still but all the hardwear though.

Which model and year are you talking about? Is it missing or you looking to do some type of conversion?

I order all my stuff thru Redwood City CCK or try the Oakland location for you. Some buy front and rear crossbar along with outriggers to convert their OB, Revos, and Adventures.

Yeah you can special order them at any local hobie stores just about. Let us know how it turns out if you go that route. The costs can add up quickly so GL  :smt006

Ok great. Thanks for the help. I thought i was going to have to find a used one that someone hated and wanted to give away. Lol I’ll call the Oakland cck find out the price and probably change my mind.

I believe they have been discontinued by Hobie, and if you can still find 'em new, they are outrageously expensive--something like $450, as I recall...
Are you pondering what I’m pondering?

That’s kinda what I have been thinking. Searching the internet I haven’t found any info. But I am going to make some calls to cck and see what’s up. $450 for just the outrigger or for the whole set up with the bars included?

You'd probably have to deviate from using hobie hardware, but this company makes amas, etc. Pretty spendy, but maybe you could find on for cheaper on CL.

Thanks for that link!  Interesting what people have made using those!   The AI Canoe for instance  :smt003
