Actually I may be up there Saturday AM, if anyone is planning. Might hit Donner Friday PM too.

If you’re going to hit Donner Friday afternoon, I should be able to join you… though we may be windy in the afternoons starting Thursday
I should get up to the area around 4. It looks like it might be a bit windy all the way till dusk on Friday. If so, I might just hit Serene for a bit and then maybe Smokey's for the Dubs game. Otherwise do you launch at the ramp or further East along the shore?

If a seagull poops on you, statistically it was no accident.

Launched this morning 6:30am. Caught 4 by 8:30. Trolling at opposite side of the lake from ramp, 50 feet behind with 3oz weight at 1.3 mph. That is about 30 feet deep. Caught the last one by the dam by 10:30. Most people got early limit by the dam. Pink hoochie worked the best for me. 4 fish are around 14”, one 12”.

Headed out from the ramp where much of the fleet was and I lost 3 takedowns and then got 2 in the boat and lost another. Then someone peddling back said the dam area was better and sure enough I picked up 3 more there by 10:30. Switched to a spoon for trout and picked up another Koke, luckily undamaged. Kept trying for trout and a little for bass but no more luck. Smallest was 10” (damaged), largest 14”.
