I have one almost identical to that, but it doesn't say "Hobie". I think I paid about that same price ($70, maybe $75) when I bought it a few years ago.

While I'm the world's biggest Hobie fan-boy, I'm not a fan of this light/flag. First, it's too short. Second, I've broken the pole a couple of times, and now it's even shorter than it was, as I had to cut off the fiberglass splinters. Third, the light itself died fairly quickly, so I got one of these, and bolted it to the top

I insert my headlight into that thing, and I think it works as well as the original light ever did.

Anyways, if I had it to do over, I'd just get that headlight case, and make my own pole for it...

I own 3 DIY flags, lost several that sunk when I accidentally bumped into them. I'd love to try this one.  The Hobie flag looks like a Yakattack flag with a Hobie name.
