Hey all, curious what y'all think of conditions tomorrow morning near the MBK area?

I've done 5ft swells with similar period/wind conditions before and didn't find it too bad though it wasn't perfectly pleasant either. But not at MBK area (which I tend to find fairly sheltered). I'm pretty sure I could handle it fine (been ocean kayaking for over a year now, mostly in the Bodega Bay or TC/OC area) but my teenage kid wants to go and it would only be his 2nd time in the ocean.

Obviously I could better assess once we're there and wouldn't try it if it looked too dicey, but was hoping to get opinions on whether or not it would even be worth the 2hr drive down.

The conditions look reasonable, but how gung-ho is your kid? You want it to be a positive experience for them.

"Squared seas" (same height in feet as duration in seconds) is bad, and that swell of 5' at 7s might be uncomfortably close to it. I'll be interested to see what others have to say...
Please don't spoil my day, I'm miles away...

It is not bad before noon according to the forecast site I use.
