If thats the beach by China Camp a lot of folks launch there for sturgeon. But you have to watch the tide on the low tide it gets real muddy there

Do you mean China Beach by Baker Beach? In the Sea Cliff area of SF? I've heard of guys getting stripers down there - not sure about this time of year, though.
May the fish be mighty and the seas be meek...

In sea cliff, launch at Baker beach. The west end is 100 yards from China beach. China beach has 100 steep stairs.

if you dont have serious ocean skills and experience, I would NOT think about going to CHINA BEACH (pacific ocean). China Camp is fishable and has a beach(not low tide) and pay lot~free limited spots fill by 10:00 take wheels.
