Interesting series from Japan. They are not as obsessed as most on the forum but close. In this “Partner Fishing” episode they have some spectacular netting skills.

Interesting video – thanks for posting it. FISHING POLES NINE METERS LONG!!! And they can feel that little fish with it.

I think that area of Japan is also where they fish the rivers with birds, cormorants.

Thanks for sharing! I was most intrigued about their bait carrier that was attached by line to the hip. Seemed like a relatively low drag livewell. Apparently it’s called the Daiwa Tomofune. Been looking for a low drag bait bucket I can drag alongside my Hobie….
