I recently dove in northern Humboldt and found a live Pinto - a first for me in many years of diving.  I've only ever found one empty shell of a pinto, and that was at the Shelter Cove boat ramp right at dawn a few years back.

Went on to find a rock with quite a few healthy abs and kelp, but the urchin damage was apparent nearby.
