Lake Mendo 8/31 eve

They busted like wild dogs, near the dam. Fast moving schools, I don't know if I would have been able to intercept with the yak. Besides that, there were 3 to 5 pb's to a boil. They hit topwater great. Tried the fly but the pb's made that endeavor difficult.
After that, went catfishing and hooked a nice one right as the moon peeked over the hill. Only one fish, 12 lbs, not as good as my earlier try, but the moonrise was worth it.
Getting ready to take my Little Brother out this morning. I hope to get him into something that gets him excited.

Go gettum Juan! I'm feeling the need for some topwater blowups.

I guess the pb's are gettin their LAST casts in before the SHUTDOWN.
