Thanks for the input Mark,  Allen and Eddie!
At the moment I think I’m going with the
Kokatat Hydrus 3.0 Supernova Angler Semi-dry Paddling Suit!
Man  you really have to study up a bit with those names, alot there.
$750
There’s alot of options out there but this one seems pretty good and has a lifetime warranty! kind of…
Thanks
Scotty

As a warranty replacement, Kokotat sent me the “gore-tex pro” version of that. It’s pretty awesome, but looks like it goes for about $300 more, so pretty costly too.

Anyways, when Kokotat says lifetime warranty, they mean it…
I don't like stuff that sucks.

Well here what I ended up with.
I found out that  my size XL, the options were limited,  alot of places had very low inventory. Ended up with a dry suit not a semi dry…
Found it at Kayak Academy in WA for $789.
I have big feet and this had a option of larger socks, so I went for it!
Down the road I hope to change out the neck gasket for a more comfortable one. Should be here for the opener!

Scotty, if you are a REI member you get 20% off drysuits they sell. I think their sale is good to 3/28. I got a 2nd Kokatat Angler suit from them this week.

I just ordered a second suit from REI today with the 20% discount. Saved $150.
Bought the Kokatat Supernova Angler Semi-Dry Suit Hydrus 3.0.

My previous suit is the Kokatat Gore-Tex Dry Suit. Bought it in 2016. The neck and wrist seals ripped last summer. Sent it to Kokatat service to replace the seals and do a pressure test. Good to go.

I upgraded to the Kokatat Hydrus 3.0 Supernova Angler Semi-dry Paddling Suit last year. Total game changer. Best decision no regrets. Super comfy. Sticky zippers though.

Lube the zipper end. It will be very smooth.

They make a nice lube for zippers, but washing with mild detergent worked for me.

Hmm I used the one from Gear-Aid and I swear it made it worse. Might have to try the mild detergent. Or does anyone have a zipper lube they can recommend? That sounds kinda…

Sorry for the thread jack.

I've been using this for years. I get them at Walmart. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Burt-s-Bees-100-Natural-Origin-Moisturizing-Lip-Balm-Original-Beeswax-with-Vitamin-E-Peppermint-Oil-4-Tubes-in-Blister-Box/23888987
