Hah, just saw a great video of a Bald Eagle swooping in on someones salmon they were reeling in.  Such awesome beasts!

I've been to lake Natoma many times and have never seen a bald eagle.
Thanks for sharing.

They have a nest between Negro Bar and Willow Creek that they have been returning to each fall for the past several years. Come springtime you usually can see 1-3 juveniles.

I’ve seen them in action here on several occasions.  Once I had an osprey come flying just above the water past me being chased by a bald eagle. The osprey trying to escape suddenly went vertical and really started climbing while the bald eagle struggled to keep up. Then the osprey rolled and dived bombed the bald eagle. After a few lost feathers the bald eagle gave up and went back to it’s nest.
