Decided to try launching from a new spot. Russian Gulch just north of Jenner. Trail going in had one steep spot but otherwise was doable. Plenty of free parking and easy in & out of water. Fished straight out from beach in about 70ft max depth for usual rockies. Talked to one guy in pb who caught a salmon in his 1st minute of trolling then trolled for 2 more hours for nada. Conditions were overcast sky, glassy, no wind, and small swell. A good day!

There's good abs there also. Although the usually murky water makes me nervous. FYI thats were Rodney Orr was hit by the tax man on two separate occasions.

Besides the sharks (that place just looks sharky fro some reason) there is also sometimes a huge shorebreak there.

Much props!
