I know bass fishing is not too popular in this forum but I just wanted to share my recent kayak bass tourney. It was open water tourney so most people went up to the Clear Lake, the land of the big ditch pickles, but My buddy and I decided to go to Salt Spring Valley Reservoir for peace and quiet. We pretty much had to whole lake to ourselves and no power boats running around.

Yes the water is very low. Can't launch power boats. Little bit of mud walk when launching kayak.
