Spent the day trolling anchovies, both frozen and live for halibut from 6:45-1:00,. Action was slow but We saw a few small halibut caught by boaters. At around 11:00 I finally got a good bite and felt some good head shakes. After a few good runs managed to net a fat 31.5” halibut. A New Kayak PB. I guess there are halibut in Tomales bay after all.

I know Halibut fishing has been slow this year so hopefully this helps anyone looking for that elusive butt.

Thanks for the report.  Nice fish.  I had planned to fish there tomorrow but had to cancel yesterday due to another commitment.  Now I'm regretting my decision.
