Haul that kayak on the cheap ASAP!

If you have a kayak or are getting one this is a must have item, I bought and had this on the van before I picked up the yak.  Easy on off loading with the stinger.

Served me well for five years car topping da Kraken.  If you have no rails on your roof this system connects by webbing and clamp through upper and rear door jams.  It secures by suction cup to roof.  Sounds sketch but have been through many a wind and storm with no issues.  Advantage is they are removable and work around rails if you have them. :smt006

Hi Eddie,

Thanks for posting this.  Got a prius with no roof rack. This looks like a good solution.  Does this work for heavier kayaks like outbacks?

Thanks

Hi!  Thanks for the inquiry.  I just talked to Darius who I scored the seawings from and he gave em' up because the stability was not satisfactory for the outback.  You are welcome to borrow the system and test for yourself.  He mentioned that the hull of an outback is too flat vs. the revo.  Your move and thanks again for inquiring.... :smt006

As I'm looking at just the rails, that might be your ticket without the wings.  Start with the bars and figure how to secure the kayak straight bait...I could visualize that scenario...

Thanks for the explanation.  I am going to pass since it won't hold the Outback.  I am temporary using my van and remove all the seats and sticking it in the back.  Way to heavy to roof rack.  I don't know how folks can roof rack these heavy kayaks.

Most lift one end at a time and slide it on to the roof.
Some YT video demonstrating this technique. Good luck on finding a system that works for you  :smt006
