For several weeks I’ve seen people getting squid from their kayaks in Monterey Bay. I haven’t had time until this weekend. Are they still there? I’d love fresh squid!
Thank you 🙏

My buddies were out there today but couldn't find any squid. You can always go for different species if you can't find squid.

Even if there is a maybe, I will give it a try. My wife really wants squid too so that gives me an extra motivation. I will take your advice and bring frozen bait just in case I need to drift for halibut if I skunk on the squid.
Thanks MooMoo

They are a few reports that they are running a little deeper and closer to Pacific Grove. A handful were caught yesterday in about 75 ft of water off del monte
