What an awesome outing with big payoffs for both guide and client.  Truly enjoyed every word of it, thanks for sharing as always!

This is my third try to reply.  Not sure why my first ones never made it.  Anyway, Eric thank you for the great trip!  You're an excellent guide.  Patient, knowledgeable and a skilled knot tier  :smt002   Being new to the sport and only out on the blue in a kayak twice I was super excited and nervous at the same time.  The cove is a beautiful place.  Not just the fishing but the scenery and kind people as well.  The fishing really blew me away.  Although the action wasn't non-stop, when the bite was on it was like no other.  Salmon, perch, rock fish, sharks, lings and halibut all within a span of an couple hours.  As nice as it would have been to land a limit of kings, the experience of battling an acrobatic coho peeling line with ease is equally satisfying.  I've pulled in my share of salmon from charter boats but nothing compares to the thrill of doing it inches off the water.  Like you said in your post, you can see the determination in their eyes to evade capture when you first get them up close to your boat or if your lucky and skilled enough close to your net.  Definitely not something you get after tiring them out behind a powerboat.  Until next time, I've got lots of fresh fillets and stories to share with friends and family.  Thanks again.

Great reports

As much as i like catching fish from a boat. There is nothing like catching them from a kayak. The experience is so much more exciting to the senses .  :smt007
